Wyre Forest School Sports Equipment Competition

Wyre Forest School Sport Partnership have launched a menu of physical activity challenges to keep our children active during this challenging time. The challenges are perfect for indoor play or in the garden and do not need any specialist equipment.
So that we could be in with a chance of winning some equipment for our school, they are asking you to post photos or videos of your children (and adults!) trying out any of the challenges. Alternatively, you could email them to school or put them on the children’s Learning Platform and we can then put them on for you.

Please upload these to #StayInWorkOut and tag via Facebook All Active Academy CIC and Wyre Forest School Sport Partnership or Twitter@WyreForestSSP and @all_cic.
Also, please include the name of our school, as the school with the most posts each month will win the sports equipment. The results will be announced at 5pm on the last Friday of every month.
Let’s join the fun!

Hockey

We are learning how to control the ball by dribbling it close to the stick and remembering to look up where we are travelling to.

‘Pushing’ the ball is a skill that you need to pass the ball or you can shoot using this technique.

Our aiming skills are improving when we have practised ‘going to goal!’

Yoga

Yoga was actually harder than we thought!
We needed to use all of our muscles and core strength.
We did enjoy the calming time at the end…
